Berkeley Tudor Remodel

Berkeley Tudor Remodel

Called in to rectify a previous kitchen remodel that was both poorly designed and executed, we created a charming, traditional room in the original spirit of the lovely 1930s home. By blending modern function with period style, we crafted a space that pleased our client so much, we were asked to extend the project to include the master bath. Watery blue glass subway tile surrounds and marble basket-weave tile flooring, complemented by white ornamental molding around the window and mirror, and a beautiful console sink with nickel plated piping and open shelving combine to produce a soothing, serene space.

What Others Say

I have used Michelle Moore from the Moore Design Group for several projects over the last few years. I am a returning client with the highest regard for Michelle’s knowledge, flair and professionalism. Michelle did the design for a bathroom remodel in a rental I own in the Berkeley flatlands. We developed the design together with Michelle speaking for a design that would remain in character with my Berkeley bungalow. Later I returned to Michelle for color advice on an exterior paint job in North Berkeley near Solano Avenue. Michelle was particularly helpful in showing me that the many small windows near the front door should be one color only despite a different scheme on the larger windows. The result is the envy of the neighborhood. Recently Michelle helped me bring together the wall and floor tile in a bathroom that had many beautiful parts but no coherent style. Only a designer of Michelle’s caliber has the skill to come in and address what could be a costly problem with color. I cannot recommend her highly enough you will be thrilled with the results.
